The first part of this session will provide an overview of commercial contracts and intellectual property rights in supply contracts and provide an insight into common issues and effective management of contract disputes.
The second session will focus on data protection and the key changes being made to data protection law when the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force in May 2018. Introduced to keep pace with today’s digital economy, the GDPR represents a complete overhaul of data protection and extends the data rights of individuals. The session will address the risks of non-compliance, as well as the benefits of embracing the changes to protect revenues and reputations, along with practical steps to take now on the journey to GDPR compliance.
