Madeleine joined the firm in 2016 and qualified into the firm's Corporate department in April 2018 where her main role involves assisting on a range of areas including acquisitions and disposals, shareholders' agreements and company formations which comprises drafting suites of documents including sale and purchase agreements, disclosure letters and board minutes and resolutions. She is also involved day-to-day in the sale and purchase of dental practices, partnerships and expense sharing arrangements, acting for both buyers and sellers.
Madeleine also assists regularly in the property aspects of wider corporate transactions, including commercial lettings, acquisitions and disposals.
Prior to joining Acuity, Madeleine obtained experience in the Trusts and Estates Administration in a top UK 100 law firm team at Hugh James, dealing with the non-contentious aspects involved in administering estates. She has also gained experience in the Real Built Environment team at Blake Morgan LLP.
Madeleine studied law at the University of Exeter, graduating in 2014. She then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University, graduating with a Commendation in 2015.
