Professional background

Kerry is a solicitor-advocate specialising in commercial law and intellectual property law / IT. Before entering legal practice, she worked for the award-winning IP Wales project which was aimed at protecting the intellectual property rights of small to medium sized enterprises and taught IP and contract law at the University of Wales Swansea (now Swansea University).

Kerry has provided training / lectured nationally and internationally on intellectual property law and dispute resolution mechanisms to professionals, international corporations and public bodies. Kerry is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is also a solicitor-advocate with higher rights of audience in both the civil and criminal courts.

In addition to acting for a range of commercial entities, Kerry has also acted for a number of charities and has provided advice on constitutional matters, framework agreements, trading agreements, brand partnership issues and charitable fund raising activities.
